Faculty ID or library card is required for admission to the Library.
If you do not have the ID/card, please ask at the Circulation Desk.
The authors who belong to Keio University may receive a discount of APC (Article Processing Charge) if the Media Center subscribes to the journals.
We collect the textbooks recommended on the syllabi as the Reserved Books.
The books are intended to be accessed by all the students taking the courses in this campus.
Please note that the Reserved Books are available only for Yagami Campus affiliates, and the loan period is only one day.
If you have any other textbooks for the courses you lecture, please let us know the following information by email.
-Your full name
-Information on the textbooks such as title, author name, year of publication, edition, etc.
Anyone affiliated with Keio University may suggest a book or journal title for purchase by completing the "Purchase Request Form
". You may place a request if the item is necessary for your study and research, and not held by our library.
All requests will be reviewed by the appropriate subject-area librarians. The purchase decision will be notified by email. Please note that filling out this form does not guarantee that the title requested will be purchased.
Please place a request well in advance, for it takes some time for the procedure.
Using Audio-Visual Materials for Your Class
Any of the audio-visual materials may be checked out for the class use, even if the material is for in-library use only.
Please ask at the Circulation Desk.
About the Collection of Faculty
Please donate your works for the Collection of Faculty which is located on the first floor of the Main Building.
The Collection consists mainly of the books written by our professors, associate professors, and assistant professors.
The works by former faculty members are also included in the Collection.
*Dictionaries, encyclopedias and e-books may not be included in the Collection.
*Please feel free to contact us if you would like to donate science and technology books written by authors not affiliated with Keio.
*Once a donation is accepted, it becomes a property of the library, and is subject to inclusion or removal from the library collection.
